Last updated 27 October 2026. This policy describes which data this website processes, for what purpose and on what legal basis.
1. Controller
Buske Consulting GmbH, Feuerbachstraße 24, 53757 Sankt Augustin, Germany, [email protected]. Further details are in the Legal Notice.
2. Hosting and access data
The website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany and is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit, your IP address, the time, the page requested, your browser and the referrer are processed in logs to deliver the site and to fend off attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process data in the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
When someone requests an address that does not exist, we store the requested address, the referrer and the browser identifier, without the IP address, to find and fix broken links (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party content
This website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. Fonts, the 3D library, images and videos are served from our own server; no third-party content such as Google Fonts, video platforms or social networks is embedded.
4. Cookies and browser storage
We only store entries that are required for a function you have chosen (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act):
pll_language (cookie, 1 year): remembers the language, English or German, in which you use the site.
tr-theme (browser local storage): remembers whether you chose the light or dark display. The entry stays on your device and is not sent to us.
To protect against attacks, Cloudflare may set technically necessary security cookies. You can delete all entries at any time in your browser settings.
5. Contact form and newsletter requests
If you write to us using the form, including to request the newsletter, we process your name, email address and message to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries). Your details are sent to us by email. We use the service Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France) as a processor with servers in the EU to send the website’s emails. The form’s spam protection works without any third-party services.
You will only receive the newsletter with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every issue or by emailing us.
Requests are deleted once they have been dealt with, after 24 months at the latest, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your details to handle your request on the same legal bases and with the same retention periods as for the contact form.
7. Links to other websites
This site links to the TechResources application (app.techresources.net) and to other websites. Data is only transferred to those sites when you follow a link; their own privacy policies apply there.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; ours is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
